Hi there,
I’m a freelance journalist currently working on an article for publication in a major magazine and subsequent to that hopefully a book. The subject of the article is an insight into women’s experiences of the medical profession in the UK. More specifically the experiences of as broad a section of the female population as possible regarding their experiences of doctors with regard to what they think of their doctor, how they feel when attending a consultation with them and any particular experiences that they have had which stands out.
I’d love to hear about your doctor, general information – gender, age etc. Plus if they are arrogant, cold and clinical or kind and caring. If they have gone out of their way to help you in some way or the opposite, they have done something which was wrong or you suspect may not have been right.
I’d love to hear experiences which show the best of the medical profession as well as its darker side whether that is incompetence or what the tabloids would call ‘dodgy doctors’
If you’d like to share your experiences then please feel free to send them to the email below, this is used purely for receipt of these accounts. Could you include your name, age and location if possible, this information will not be directly included in the article/book, names will be changed to a random false name, locations will be mentioned but not specifically, only a general area. Other than that the age and location info will only be used to compile graphs, maps and charts to give an illustrated view of the medical profession and its treatment of female patients in the UK. If you submit your experience to me you will receive by email a personal copy of the article on the day of its publication.

Thanks for reading this and I hope to hear from some of you soon.
