Hello everyone,

This is my first post on here,I have been thinking about moving to London for a while, i have been living in Manchester for 7 years now, i quite like it here, however i have been struggling to find a job recently here and i know this from knowing a few friends in London that it was eaiser for them,i alos really need a change.

Third reason is that my fiance is Morrocan,and there are hardly any morrocons living here in manchester, which is why i think it would be a good idea for us to live in London after we are married.

BIG QUESTION IS,is it true its far too epensive and living in London is not very good? what do you think? I need some advice.. thanks everyone

To be honest, the rent is much more expensive than in Manchester.

But it is fun, you will have a lot more nice bars and exhibitions to go to.

I think it would be a good idea to have a job in London to go to as opposed to move hoping to find a job.

One of my friends moved there a while ago and says that it is a bit more expensive than his previous town, but he absolutely loves it anyway - he's having a great time.

The rent difference is really alot!
I live in Manchester, i'm paying 500 for a bedsit all bills included.
My friends in the centre of London are paying 1000 for a room in a shared house.

a night out is also a lot more, unless you stick to student-type places.

Although, I still one day want to live in London, just for a while to say I have. So save up & go for it!

I am hoping to move to London within the next 10 years. I will find a job there and rent a house, I reckon. My brother already lives in London, so he will be able to show me around the area I will be living. It is scary, but also exciting. I will still visit my family, but it will be time to move on soon.
