Subject: losing hope...
hello i'm 18 (yeah i know i'm young, no judging please) and me and my fiance have been trying for a baby for almost a year, he is 22, now i know that a year isnt really that long for the average person but i'm sure that with my health and age i should be pregnant by now, now i know its not just a case of having sex often, you gotta time it right, i know all that, i'm just frustrated because all i have ever wanted since i was about 12 years old was to be a mum, and now that i have the opportunity to have a child it doesnt seem to be happening, i'm not religious but either way i pray for all of you that are having problems like us and i hope you can do the same (you never know it might help)

thanks for allowing me to get my frustration out on here. good luck and babydust

Have you thought about going to have a chat with your doctor about it?

I know that if you've been on the pill for a long time (ie years) it can take a while to get it out of your system but I don't think you're old enough for that to be the problem.

I would suggest going and seeing what your doctor thinks, he may advise doing a sperm test on your fiance to see if they're active enough.

Good luck and let us know how you get on
