Subject: Does anyone buy a daily newspaper anymore?
Whenever I commute I pick up the freebie Metro, and the rest of the time I get my news online.
So do any of you guys still buy a newspaper? Or regularly buy a mag? I randomly buy a decent mag when I can afford it, or occassionally gossip mags like OK and NOW for a cheesy read.

I still buy the Independent, but only on Saturdays and Sundays, when I have a bit more time to sit down and read it (I usually end up reading through it all through the next week) - also, I fancy a rest from the screen, and I'm grateful if I can look at some "real print" every now and then

I confess to not even buying a weekly newspaper any more! I check the news on the internet instead, but find myself clicking it off within a couple of minutes

Funny how the internet has changed us isn't it?
I agree diammie, I think my concentration span is definitely shorter now! And Willows, yep - taking a break from the screen is certainly a good thing. I've just finished a book I've been reading and I really miss it! Maybe I'll have to buy a weekend newspaper tomorrow...

I buy the Daily Mail although I have to guiltily admit it's mostly for the puzzle pull-out... Although it's always fun to have a little shout at some of the articles too.

I buy the weekend papers, grab the freebies, and get the rest zapped to my phone.
it is a shame, as I love reading the papers. But I generally like the comment and editorial sections, and only really have the time to read those at the weekend.

I get magazines and newspapers on my iPad now! It's so handy to have things download automatically as they become available, but I agree sometimes it's nice to actually buy one!
