I'm using Pantene mousse (for the first time) at the moment and so far so good It doesn't feel too heavy or make my hair feel loaded with product! I've not really had to buy mousse much in the past but now I have a shorter style I need it to help keep the volume/height in my hair.

Which hair mousse do you use and would recommend?

Think of mousse as pretty retro lol, and can just imagine it going all sticky and straw like in my hair.

Wax and putty style things for me, I buy whatever is on special offer or has the best advert

Oh and LOTS of hairspray, & Elnette is by far the best, and you can get it in pound shops for next to nothing. Tre Semme in those big industrial sized cans is good too.

I have to say I don't notice much difference with mousses no matter how much I spend, so now I just go for the bargain brands. I'm a bit of a sucker for nice smells though. Does the Pantene one smell good?

It has a fruity smell but not overpowering. I like it and like you I prefer it to smell nice

Which bargain brands have you bought and found good?
