I was bleached blonde and I went to a different salon on a friend's recommendation. I asked to go medium brown with blonde highlights. After four hours in the salon, lots of highlighting, and two permanent colours later, I left a reddy brown with very gingery highlights.
Devastated.
I went back to an old hairdresser the next day who put bleach highlights round my parting area to try strip the red. The plan is now to go back blonde but this will be a lengthy process due to the red dye.
How can I fade the red without looking too copper?
