I'm new to forums - Handbag.com is my first and I think it's great. I might sound stupid but what does 'subscribe to this thread' mean? Think I've sussed out everything else but not sure about this.

I'm new to forums - Handbag.com is my first and I think it's great. I might sound stupid but what does 'subscribe to this thread' mean? Think I've sussed out everything else but not sure about this.

Hi Sunshine, welcome to the forum!
When you click 'subscribe' it means you get a notification every time someone posts a response on that thread.
Look at the top right hand corner of your page and you'll see 'New' and 'Unread'. Click on unread and this is where you'll see all your subscribed threads and any new responses.
It took me a while to realise that it's a good idea to subscribe to your own threads so that you know when someone has responded!
