I don't know about anyone else but I'm really not interested about celebs who start pouring their hearts out about their past/childhood etc such as Katy Perry did recently. Celeb gossip is fine, but when it relates to their current lives, ie. what they wear, who they date, latest films/records etc. I'm not heartless but I am not that bothered about hearing how hard you had they've had it, they've got it made now!

I guess it depends who it is... I recently watched a programme on Neil Morrissey about how he went back to the care home where he grew up. He met with his childhood social worker and found out for the first time why his brother and he were put into care.

That was pretty interesting.

But I know what you mean when they waffle on about how hard they had to practise at their posh drama schools etc.

As they say on TOWIE: "Shut Up!!"

I think for me it depends on certain things, like if they really did have a hard time growing up and had to overcome adversity, or if the biggest adversity they had to overcome was their ballet teacher forgetting their name...

I prefer hearing about the former - not so much about the latter!

Also, celebrities who I can remember acting like absolute brats when they first became 'famous' irritate me when they suddenly develop holier-than-thou attitudes too...
