Hi

Do you use a primer? That should make your foundation last longer. Most brands do them now - No7, Gosh (Superdrug), Smashbox, and I'm sure MAC do one. My foundation slides right off if I don't use a primer and I have differing results with different brands so its worth experimenting.

I've also noticed Urban Decay do a setting spray which I think I might try out - I believe they do a travel/trial size.

Let me know if you find anything that helps!

I always use a YSL Touche Eclat before any foundation, so worth the money and gives your foundation a bit better coverage. No 7 foundation is great in terms of texture I find. I think maybe your skin type affects how long it lasts. Maybe a mattifying powder or primer for oily or combination skin might help (if you have oily skin that is?)

really! I have recently been using bareMinerals foundation and it stays on for a long time. Although I use a primer that I got along with it in a pack which helps I guess but I really love the texture of the minerals, it feels so natural and soft on my skin and hides all my blemishes. Try using it with Prime Time primer from bareMinerals

Well last time i have got the same situation as you are having right now. I read several books and magazines. I have coincidently found a malaysia perfume magazine at my desk, fews of recommendation such as Clinique, lancome & laura mercier. Infact, I have used Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizer for years and it's a beauty editor and beauty artist all-time favorite. It's lighter than foundation which makes it perfect for warmer days or for women who don't like heavy product on their faces. There are a bunch of shades to choose from, so I suggest heading to a department store and trying them out. You can use oil-free if you have oily skin or regular if you have dry or mature skin.

I don't like heavy foundation on my face, so I just stick to concealer and pressed powder. But, if I were to wear foundation, I'd go for L'Oreal's True Match foundation or Maybelline Dream Creamy. The pressed powder I use in the NYC one: it is very good and matches my skin perfectly.
