Hi everyone,

My dog is 7 - nearly 8, and we had her operated on in Feb. She's a miniature dachshund and she had a spine problem. The surgery seemed a success until a week ago. She suddenly stopped wanting to do anything and then went really shaky. She's on painkillers now and we're off to see a specialist on Monday, but I'm not hopeful. I don't know how I'm going to carry on without her. I love her so much.
I want to cry all the time, even if I try not to cry, it still ends up coming over me.

I had to arrange our last dog being put down in 2007 and I really don't want to do it again. xxx
