Subject: Language courses for children
Hi everybody

Has anybody used something like BBC's Muzzy language course for children? Would you recommend it?

In our case it's not so much about just teaching a foreign language - my native language is German but I just didn't crack the bilingual approach, so now would like at least to teach my son German early on and just looking for something to supplement me talking to him an hour or so a day.

Hi,

I think Muzzy is a good course, however nothing will compare to your child learning from you.

My kids are growing up in a foreign environment, so we speak our native language at home and they are exposed to a second language outside of the house.

They're both now fluent in 2 languages.

Good luck!
