Subject: Do you share your writing online?
Hello again. *waves*
I was wondering if anyone was brave enough to share things they wrote - from chapters of long stories to short stories themselves - online? And if you do, is it fanfiction or original fiction with your own characters? Or even a combination of the two?
Personally, I only tend to share my writing with a Livejournal group of like-minded people - somehow, the older I've got, the more the idea of sharing my writing with a wider group of people seems to scare me. If you feel the same but share it regardless, how do you get over that fear?

I post my poetry onto a website and also have friends and acquaintances read my short stories. I've written quite a few short stories and everyone seems to love them! I enjoy people reading my work and have been writing literature for over a decade now. Some poems are better than others, but most are decent. Because I have written so much, confidence comes with this. You just have to believe in yourself. No one will insult your work: what matters is what YOU think of your work. And if they don't like it, then no one is forcing them to read it!!
