Forget Jack Tweed and Alex Reid - here at Handbag, we have a new hate figure in the form of Kerry Katona's husband Mark Croft. Rumours are surfacing that the former taxi driver is set to try and solve the family's cash flow problems by tricking Kerry into bed with another man - and then selling footage of the indiscretion to the tabloids.

Kerry lost her contract with supermarket chain Iceland last month after being filmed snorting cocaine in her bathroom - and was said to be suspicious that Mark had set up the hidden camera. The couple have been on the rocks for months, with Kerry even threatening to call police over claims that Mark had stolen money from her, but at the moment the couple seem to be putting on a united front for the cameras.

Sources told Now magazine: "It was Mark and his cronies who set up the video which appeared in the papers of him with a lap dancer. He was behind stories of Kerry cavorting with a boot camp marine that appeared in the papers recently - but now he wants to catch her in the act of having sex with someone else," the insider claimed.
"It's a crazy scheme. He's hoping he can trick Kerry easily, if she's had enough drink and drugs, to fall into bed with someone else. If this happens, he'll have an excuse to leave Kerry as he thinks the public would side with him."

What a charmer.
