Have your say on her songwriting ambitions here

Kate MossShe's no stranger to performing in front of an audience, but Kate Moss may soon be swapping the catwalk for the mic stand, as she takes one step closer to a singing career.

She was often spotted duetting with ex-boyfriend Pete Doherty, and even co-wrote songs on his album Shotter's Nation, but we all thought her musical ambitions were a flash in the pan - until we heard that Kate has recently registered with the Performing Rights Society as a songwriter and publisher. This means that any future songs she writes will earn her extra cash on top of her modelling and design career, and will give her full copyright over her work.

Rumours have been circulating for a while that Kate is keen to work with boyfriend Jamie Hince from The Kills, but Jamie's on-off bandmate Alison Mosshart was said to be furious at the idea. Now that Mosshart has left the band to tour with her side project, the Jack White-fronted The Dead Weather, could this be the start of a beuatiful collaboration for Kate?

What do you think? Should Kate make the move from model to musician?
