Their breakup was well-known for heated rows, tales of unreasonable behaviour and slanging matches in the press, but could Guy Ritchie and Madonna be on the brink of getting back together? The two are regretting their split and thinking about getting back together, a source has sensationally told The People newspaper.

Although the pair finalised their divorce earlier this year an insider says the pair have started to look back fondly on their years together. "The pair of them have huge egos so, rather than speaking directly to one another, they are using friends to relay information," the source claims. "The truth is both Guy and Madonna are becoming more and more open in their admissions that in many ways they regret getting divorced. It's one of those rare situations where couples start to get on better once their marriage is over. Both of them are brilliant with the kids and have fond memories of their family life together. "It's almost as though they have forgotten about all the rows they had as their marriage headed for the rocks."

Earlier this month, Guy Ritchie admitted he still had feelings for his ex. "I still love her," Guy told Esquire magazine. "But she's retarded, too. She's a manifester, if there ever was one. First-rate manifester. Madonna makes things happen. Put Madonna up against any 23-year-old, she'll outwork them, outdance them, outperform them. The woman is broad."
