Have you ever cheated on a partner?
Have your say on cheating here
Men have long had a bad reputation for straying in relationships, but a new study reveals that in fact women are just as likely to cheat on their partners as men - and that they're far more likely to get away with it.
According to the study, by researchers at Manchester Metropolitan University, 20% of men and 15% of women will have an affair at some point in their lives, but women are more likely to keep their 'indiscretions' under wraps. "If you look at the studies into paternity, even conservative figures show that between eight and 15 per cent of children haven't been fathered by the man who thinks he's the biological parent," says psychologist Dr David Holmes, who led the study.
Even celebs are prone to some extra-marital action - rumours are even starting to surface that Farah Fawcett had an 11-year affair behind partner Ryan O'Neal's back, and managed to keep it a secret up until her death earlier this year.
What do you think? Have you ever had an affair? Did you manage to keep it a secret?
