As the credit crunch bites, food manufacturers have been shrinking pack sizes in order to maintain their profits. Do you think this is acceptable practise?

AC Nielsen Marketing Director Jake Shepherd commented: “Manufacturers and retailers need to be creative about how they handle food inflation. If prices of consumers' favourite food goes up, they go 'crikey' but do they notice its size shrinking? It's less likely.”
