Did Danyl Johnson deserve to be in the bottom two on last night's X Factor?

We're still in shock from the X Factor results show last night - Rachel not in the final two? Miss Frank kicked out? JEdward's hair still as gravity-defying as ever? But for us, the biggest twist of the night was one-time bookies favourite Danyl Johnson having to sing for his place in the competition in the live Sunday night sing-off.

Danyl, who has been rumoured to be extremely confident that he's in it for the long run on the show, sang his original audition song Get By With A Little  Help From My Friends - the song that prompted Simon to tell him he'd given the best first audition he'd ever seen. The vote then went to deadlock - with girl group Miss Frank being sent home with the lowest number of public votes.

Show bosses were reportedly furious that one of the 'best acts' was allowed to be in the bottom two, and are now apparently in talks to discuss song choices to make sure that the strongest acts stay in the competition.
