The X Factor's Kitty Brucknell talks auto-tune
Kitty Brucknell - doesn't actually sound like Marilyn Manson

Kitty Brucknell may be 2011's Katie Waissel, but The X Factor contestant really does seem to have a good set of pipes on her.
Of course, that doesn't change the fact that she scares me beyond belief.
The X Factor production team diced with (possible) death this weekend, when they added an effect to her voice as she sang Sweet Dreams, without her knowledge...
In an interview with The Mirror, Kitty said:
"I can't believe people think I was Auto-Tuned. I have been performing on stage for nine years and never used it.
"I didn't know they were going to add the effects to my voice. It wasn't my decision.
"They used a vocoder and afterwards when I watched it back I could hear it too. It was done so that it made me sound more like Marilyn Manson."
I wish they'd do that with Frankie Cocozza, or at least make him sound like someone who can sing…
Kitty went on,
"I trust the production team. They have made my performances look amazing on the live shows. But I'm going to insist they don't change my voice with any effects next week."
That's your first warning, production team. I'd hate to see what she's like when she's really angry…
At least she wasn't topless?
