Who’s cut out to take on the role of Princess Diana?
Taking on the role of the Princess of Hearts is no easy task. And with two Princess Diana biopics on the cards, who might play her best is a hot topic here at handbag. First up, is a film based on the book Closely Guarded Secret by Diana’s former bodyguard Ken Wharfe, which Keira Knightley is attached to. Secondly, is a film by Pathé which will look at Diana’s whole life, and Charlize Theron is said to be signed up for. But, who do you think will make the best princess Di, Keira, Charlize or someone else entirely?
Keira already has experience playing one of Diana’s descendents Georgiana Cavendish in The Duchess. While Charlize has that Oscar under her belt, so could be argued to be a better actress. Well, at least less pouty.
And, of course, both ladies have their own fair share of experience with the paparazzi. Which should definitely help them take on the role.
We’re thanking our lucky stars Lindsay Lohan wasn’t considered, seeing as she once told Touch Weekly that she’d like to play the tragic princess.
