John Travolta and Kelly Preston will follow strict Scientology rules when they welcome their third child later this month, Popeater reports. Scientologists claim childbirth can be have a long-lasting effect on babies so advise that mothers deliver their children in complete silence so the experience doesn’t “haunt” the offspring as they grow up. Insiders claim Travolta and Preston, both committed Scientologists, have agreed to keep quiet during the arrival of their third child later this month.
"The couple will follow the church's guidelines during delivery," a source explained. "No music, no talking and no screaming will be allowed during the pains of labour. Also their new son cannot be prodded for medical tests or spoken to for the first seven days of his life. You don't want to do anything that will haunt them for the rest of their lives."
