Tom Hardy not upset with Jonathan Ross
Tom Hardy - just having a laugh

Tom Hardy is known for playing fairly intimidating roles in movies like Warrior and Bronson, so when gossip spread that he'd got angry during a recent taping of Jonathan Ross's talkshow… it wasn't THAT hard to believe.
Thing is, he's actually a big softie - see proof here - and he was just having a laugh and trying to turn the tables on the host.
After a clip of him aged 19 in a modelling competition on The Big Breakfast was shown, he avoided questions about the upcoming Batman film The Dark Knight Rises, which has been interpreted as him being difficult.
But Tom told The Sun that the squirm-fest didn't actually play out like that, and that he was just trying to make Jonathan uncomfortable. He's not allowed to talk about Batman, you see:
"I heard that someone thinks I was really genuinely upset with Jonathan Ross. Not at all.
"It was funny as hell and embarrassing yes, but I was in on the gag and winding Jonathan up to put him in an awkward seat for a laugh…
"No one on the Batman unit can utter a word about the film. Me and Jonny were messing around. I'm sorry if people got the wrong impression and feel that I was an a**hole.
"If people want a good laugh at me desperately trying to get up the ladder, tell 'em to watch Minotaur. That's a pile of s***."
Tom and Jonathan's interview will be shown this weekend, and after all this I'll certainly be tuning in.
Check out Tom among this month's movies to watch (not Minotaur).
