Aw, poor little Taylor Momsen's been throwing her toys out the pram again… Life's just sooooo unfair, why is the media only interested in the fact that she wears lingerie onstage and not her music? Maybe because no one has actually heard her band, Pretty Reckless.
Following previous soundbites on 'f**king priests', 'vibrators' and 'sex tapes', the 17-year-old has told PopEater:
"[My demeanour] does take over my music but that's also tabloids. That's their response to who I am.
"I don't have control over what people are going to write and it's always going to be part of it. But fashion, music... it all comes together. Tabloids are going to focus on my shoes and not my music, that's just what they do."
Hang on a minute… As I recall, she previously told Spin:
"People think pop is rock, and the lines are getting blurred. Now Rihanna's wearing fuckin' leather jackets, and it's really annoying."
Is that called being a hypocrite? Yup, it is.
