Tara Reid crashed back into the public consciousness with a sudden wedding and a stint on Celebrity Big Brother.
Now it looks like the first of those things was a sham. Publicity stunt, maybe?
She was at LAX yesterday when a photographer asked her in passing if she and her husband would be good contestants on wedding gameshow The Newlywed Game.
Apparently deciding that it was time to come clean, Tara confessed:
"We would lose... we were never really married, it was never legal."
So, does that mean she wants to make it legal? Or is it over between them? She didn't actually say. Curious…
Seeing as he proposed just hours before the ceremony, I guess things like legality didn't really come into their minds at the time.
Or maybe she doesn't want to be tied down as she starts promoting the new American Pie movie… is she holding out for a D-lister?
They did get married pretty quickly.
