Sugababes giving away their music for free

So, apparently the Sugababes are still together! Who knew?
After all that legal wrangling, in which former 'babe Mutya Buena managed to win the rights to sell paper goods with the Sugababes name on them - we're still waiting for the stationery - they're releasing a single.
Well, kind of.
Jade Ewen, Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah's latest release is now a free download, as The Sun reports that the pre-order link put up on iTunes was pulled thanks to a distinct lack of airplay from any radio stations.
Freedom is the name of the single and it's being given away free "as a thank you to fans", which they deserve really, after sitting through all those different lineups.
Maybe they'll get together with Mutya and give away their songs with Sugababes' birthday cards, or notepaper.
Well, it sounds like it's time for a new approach, at least.
