Sex And The City back on TV screens?
After the mess that was Sex And The City 2, we thought it was unlikely we'd ever see the fantastic four together again unless it were in an OAPs home in thirty years time thanks to some weird twist of fate. How much fun would that be?
However, it looks like we may have been wrong.
With plans for a third film said to be well and truly out of window, rumours are that the girls and their Manolos will be hot-footing it across our TV screens for a seventh season.
It seems that talks have led to the decision that the girls will return to the original format with Sarah Jessica Parker in the role of producer as well as taking up her character, Carrie, again.
"Ultimately Darren Star - the man who created the hit series - will have overall say, but everyone is agreed a TV show is the direction they want to take the franchise," one insider told the Daily Mail.
"Sarah Jessica Parker will be producing. She was worried about doing another film after the bad reaction to the SATC2 movie, but a TV show is definitely something she wants to happen."
"They want to make another TV series before doing another film," the source added.
Earlier this year rumours of a Sex And The City film charting Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda's younger years began hotting up. Elizabeth Olsen was tipped to play Carrie, with leggy Blake Lively down for man-eater Samantha, Selena Gomez reported to be playing Charlotte and Emma Roberts down for the younger Miranda.
We can't wait!
