Sean Penn and Wyclef feud continues
Rapper Wyclef Jean and Oscar winning actor Sean Penn.
The feud between Wyclef Jean and Sean continued today after representatives for the actor called Jeans recent remarks reckless and saddening, perezhilton.com reports. The pair fell out last month when Penn - who has been volunteering in Haiti since the tragic earthquake earlier this year criticised Wyclefs presidential bid. Jean responded during a concert last week. "I got a message for Sean Penn, the rapper told the audience. Maybe he ain't see me in Haiti because he was too busy sniffing cocaine."
Spokesmen for Penn were quick to reply, calling Jeans comments highly irresponsible and false.
"Mr. Jean is clearly unfamiliar with the physical demands put upon volunteers in Haiti. As aid workers there, the notion of depleting the bodys immune system through the use of illicit drugs is ludicrous, they explained. More specifically, J/P Haitian Relief Organization (a.k.a. JPHRO) has a zero tolerance policy for any and all illegal drugs. As the leader of this organisation, Sean Penn has not only set this policy, but adheres to it. That Mr. Jean would make such a false accusation is reckless and saddening, but not surprising."
