Looks like it was a clip around the ear and bed with no supper for Robbie Williams after a recent Copenhagen Take That show…
The potty-mouthed singer got in trouble with bandmate Gary Barlow's mum, who - though used to his usual f-words and s-words - was shocked when he decided to add a c-word into the mix. To change things up, I suppose.
Robbie got annoyed with journalists saying his recent bout of food poisoning was actually a hangover, and told the crowd so onstage, calling the writers… well… you get the idea.
He told The Sun:
"I did say the C-word and I regret it but I can't have anyone implying that I was drunk or drugging.
"I love Marge but she's not a fan of the expletives."
Seeing as Gary's co-written and produced Robbie's next album, I reckon Mr. Williams is going to have to bite his tongue rather a lot from here on in.
