Ricky Whittle “distraught” by arrest

Ricky Whittle has admitted he is “distraught” after facing dangerous driving charges. The actor was arrested last year after being involved in an accident with photographer. However, despite being cleared of all charges earlier this month, Whittle believes his arrest has harmed his career. "I had a couple of huge modelling campaigns in the pipeline but they wanted to find out the outcome of the court case," he told New magazine. "I've probably missed the boat with that now. I shouldn't have spent a night in a cell, that's hugely embarrassing. I've had my reputation tarnished. I'm distraught."
