Unconfirmed couple in unconfirmed break-up might not sound like a significant story, but since it seemed as though things were hotting up between Bradley Cooper and Renee Zellweger in recent months, it is slightly sad news that they've apparently now split…
The pair met on the set of 2009's Case 39 and were spotted looking intimate in Spain a few months later leading to reports of them dating. They've remained secretive ever since, with the 36-year-old actor refusing to comment on his love life during a recent interview with Details magazine. HOWEVER, Renee did recently attend a TV recording while the Hangover star was promoting his new flick Limitless, happily waving to the camera from the audience, so what could've gone wrong?
According to UsMagazine.com, multiple sources have spoken about the split, although there's been little news about the finer details.
The tight-lipped pair have both had short-lived marriages before: Brad to Samantha Who? actress Jennifer Esposito and Renee to country singer Kenny Chesney, so they're pros at moving on. And if the 41-year-old actress feels a bit down in the dumps, I suggest a Bridget Jones double-bill. V.good for a broken heart.
As for ol' blue eyes Brad, he recently told Ok! that he refuses to reveal too much about his personal life because he's worried opening himself up to audiences will spoil their enjoyment of his movies, saying:
"It's a taste thing - I see the benefit of it (social networking) for sure. It's a great way to promote ideas and projects.
"For me, maybe I'm old fashioned, if I know so much about you and you're playing a character in a movie then that's a lot of work I'm gonna have to do to forget who you are so that I can believe the character and therefore enjoy the movie."
Fair enough, although we do love the gory details.
