It normally spells box office disaster when a real-life couple star alongside each other in a Hollywood movie (Bennifer, Brangelina), but that's not putting the makers of James Bond off trying to get Daniel Craig's new love Rachel Weisz in the next instalment of the film franchise.
According to The Sun, the team are keen to sign the recently divorced star - although not to play 007's love interest, she'd actually be his enemy.
Talking to the paper, a source blabbed:
"Casting Rachel was going to be a surprise twist as everyone would assume she'd be a Bond girl when really she would play a villain. But the fly in the ointment is that they are now dating."
The new couple, who were first linked when Weisz revealed that her and Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky had split, met on the set of upcoming release Dream House and were spotted together in Dorset over Christmas, with a source tell News of the World at the time:
"They were laughing and chatting and hanging on to each other's words and stopping to take photos of each other.
"They were clinging to each other like honeymooners. The chemistry was obvious."
Would that chemistry translate on screen though? Being enemies could be an interesting twist (especially if Aronofsky was directing).
