Noel Gallagher weds Sara Macdonald

If you're going to ask Russell Brand to be your best man, surely the highlight of the reception is going to be an embarrassing, bordering-on-inappropriate speech, right?
Well, it seems he was on his best behaviour at the wedding of his mate Noel Gallagher and Sara Macdonald this weekend.
They tied the knot in the New Forest at the Lime Wood hotel, with Sara in a vintage 1930s gown, which she swapped for a Tom Ford dress before the reception. Guests included Paul Weller, David Walliams, Lara Stone, but there was no sign of Liam Gallagher there to cause a bit of boisterous trouble.
He's not speaking to Noel still, but he also had another excuse as he's currently on tour with his band Beady Eye. Still, Russell held his own in a child-friendly best man speech for the all ages crowd that The Sun reports went down a storm.
Well of course it did - it's Russell.
Congrats to the happy couple, maybe Liam will stop stropping long enough to send his regards too, eh? Stranger things have happened…
