Noel Gallagher on Liam bust-up

Get ready to hear about the biggest rock 'n' roll fight since that time H from Steps threw a Flump at Lee Latchford Evans (that might not have happened) - Noel Gallagher has sensationally revealed that brother Liam chucked a plum at the wall during the bust up that ultimately caused the demise of Oasis back in 2009.
Talking at a press conference to announce his debut solo album (out this October), the guitar ace revealed:
"[Liam] didn't turn up for the V Festival gig because he had a hangover. He claimed he had laryngitis but whatever.
"There was a lot of bad press around that. And in his own head he thinks I'm some kind of puppet master who controls the media.
"We get to [scheduled festival in] Paris and he's reeling off journalists' names. There were all manner of people mentioned who I'd never met. I just thought, 'He's off his head.'
"He was quite violent. At that point there hadn't been any physical violence but it was a bit like WWE wrestling and he was Macho Man Randy Savage.
"Liam was saying 'F*** you and f*** you and f*** you.' And he storms out of the dressing room.
"I'm glad it never ended like this but on the way out he picked up a plum, threw it across the dressing room and it smashed on a wall.
"Although part of me wishes it did end like that. It would have been a great headline - Plum Throws Plum."
"For whatever reason he goes to his own dressing room and came back with a guitar and started wielding it like an axe. I'm not f***ing kidding. It was just a really unnecessary violent act.
"He was swinging this guitar around and nearly took my face off with it. It ended up on the floor. I put it out of its misery.
"And there were people in the band not saying anything. And I was like, 'Y'know what, I'm f***ing out of here.'
"I got in the car and sat there for five minutes and just said, 'F*** it, I can't do this any more.' "
Hours after Noel's announcement, Liam tweeted "s***bag", so it seems he's grown-up plenty… Hopefully Nicole Appleton has hidden the fruit bowl.
