After being frontwoman of lads mag dream The Pussycat Dolls, Nicole Scherzinger has said she wasn't always so comfortable with their skimpy clothes and dance routines.
In a new interview with US Marie Claire, she said she actually burst into tears when she saw what she had to wear for the band. But, instead of saying no and losing the "opportunity", Nicole went with it and now sees it as an important part of growing up. Erm…
"I cried when I saw my first Pussycat Doll costume. It was my first photo shoot, and I wasn't used to wearing clothes like that.
"My friends from high school were like, 'Oh, my gosh, our sweet little Nicole.'
"It's growing up, though, right? I'm a woman, and it's part of owning what you are."
Yeah, I'm sure writhing around on stage in a skimpy outfit for the enjoyment of blokes really helps you "own what you are", Nicole.
Well… I'm sure that there's a bunch of reality show contestants and Hollyoaks actresses that might go along with that…
