Mika's sister critically ill after fall

Mika’s older sister is critically ill after impaling herself on railings following a 50ft fall, the Sun reports. Paloma Penniman, was believed to have been sitting on a window ledge three stories up when she lost her balance and fell, impaling herself through both legs and her abdomen on a railing below in the early hours of Sunday morning. Insiders say Mika was at the Kensington property and made the 5am call to the emergency services.
"To say he's traumatised by this doesn't even come close,” a source explained. "It's the stuff of nightmares. Paloma had surgery today on her abdomen and legs - but she is critically ill. Mika is out of his mind with worry. No one really knows what happened. One minute Paloma was sitting on the window-ledge, the next she had fallen on to the railings."
A spokesman for the Metropolitan confirmed they were not treating the incident as suspicious. "Police were called to an address at 5.15 this morning, after reports that a woman was impaled on railings after falling from a window," they told press while Mika’s spokesman has asked for privacy. "Paloma had a serious accident. She is in a critical but stable state. The family have asked for privacy at this time."
