Megan Fox for Knocked Up sequel?
Megan Fox - up for Knocked Up sequel?
I'm not surprised that Katherine Heigl is out of the running for the Knocked Up sequel - the actress called the film 'sexist' during the press round when it was released in 2007, much to the surprise of director Judd Apatow. Not cool, Heigl, not cool. Don't accept the role if you don't like the script.
So, who's set to take over in a follow-up? Well, Megan Fox, possibly.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the sequel will focus on the characters played by Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann in the original release, with Fox being tipped for a new part.
Will she be 'knocked up'? No word on that yet, but the actress, who's hardly impressed the critics with her recent work, is currently filming a flick called Friends With Kids alongside Mad Men hottie Jon Hamm, so she's definitely got children on the brain. Must be since she got hitched to Brian Austin Green and started playing proper stepmum to little Cassius.
What do you reckon? Will Fox be any good in a comedy? Or should Apatow have made peace with Heigl and stuck to the original cast?
