Lord Alan Sugar fired
The Apprentice boss Lord Alan Sugar.
Lord Alan Sugar has admitted he has been fired from his job with the government, the Mirror reports. Last year, Sugar was recruited by Gordon Brown to be the Business and Enterprise Tsar, causing a delay to the current series of the Apprentice. However, after the change in government, the Amstrad boss was told his services would no longer be required.
"After the election No 10 got in touch and told me that my services were no longer required,” Lord Alan admitted. "I am happy to work with them but they don't want to work with me. It's a real shame."
