Lauren Goodger: 'This is the real me'

While most of the old face os the TOWIE crew have moved on to other things, Lauren Goodger has said she's happy to stay where she is.
She reckons that it's actually beneficial, as now that Mark Wright is gone, people can see the real her…
So far, unfortunately, it seems like the real her is someone who can't get through a sentence without mentioning Mark Wright.
Lauren told Metro:
"The reason I’m doing this series is to show people the real me – the one without Mark.
"In every series we have new people coming in, and that’s the way it will always be. Lydia Bright knows Ricky Rayment, though. People keep saying he’s the new Mark Wright, but that’s rubbish. No one could replace Mark.
"I’ve been there for so long now – I’m one of the original characters. It’s an adjustment when new people come in and it takes a while to warm to them, but it’s refreshing.
"At the end of the day, everyone’s going to be different, so there’s no competition."
Unless any of them start dating Mark outside the show, that is.
