When it’s pouring down with rain and you are in danger of becoming a couch potato this summer, Lady Geek brings you the latest games to get your bootie moving.

Get down on the dance floor

Harmonix have finally blessed us with Dance Central 2 with even more songs and dance routines to choose from and, more excitingly, a multi-player feature. Finally your friends can join you strutting your stuff and attempt to master Beyoncé’s routines in preparation for her imminent performance at Glastonbury.

Make a smoothie out of an app.

Not only is the highly addictive Fruit Ninja game available on Kinect this summer, but Halfbrick are also releasing a new game for Facebook, iPhone and iPad. Fruit Ninja Frenzy has a 'smoothie' feature, which allows you to personalise game play. From adding extra time, to getting rid of those annoying bombs to including extra bananas, you can become a Fruit Ninja master.

Be the master of your TV

For those who already shout at your TV, Xbox Live brings you voice command. Finally your TV will respond. This fantastic feature makes searching for films, music and TV shows much easier and quicker. What’s more, Xbox Live has expanded its content with partnerships with YouTube andSky, so if you miss your favourite TV show while on holiday you can ‘say it, and Xbox will find it.’ If only the man in my life would respond as quickly!
