Kimberly Stewart gives birth to girl

I've had almost nine months to get used to it, but I still can't quite believe that Kimberly Stewart and Benicio del Toro ever were - even if it was only for a few minutes (ew). But they've got the proof now - a new baby girl who was delivered in Los Angeles yesterday.
According to Us Weekly, the baby - who has yet to be named - was 22 inches long and weighed 8 lbs 9 oz.
Why do Americans always give the length? It just sounds weird, like a ruler…
Anyway, it's reported that Kim's dad Rod and his current wife Penny Lancaster-Stewart were at the hospital during Kimberly's delivery, along with Alana Collins, who is the model's mum - and Rod's ex. Nice and awkward in the delivery room then.
I wonder what would've happened if Benecio had turned up?
