Not content with the Handbag record for most column inches, Katie Price is trying to officially make it into the Guinness Book of World Records with the title for the Largest Book Signing by a Single Author.
Yep, her name scribbled at the front will probably be the only two words she's actually written herself in the entire book.
The current record is held by former world chess champion, Anatoli Karpov, who signed 1,951 copies of his book in 8 hours on 21 October 2006. Will almost two thousand people turn up for Price? Surely not. Hang on, that does give me another idea though; if she wants to break the record for most custard pieces thrown in the face, she'll probably attract tenfold the crowd.
If you'd like to take this idea into your own hands, the signing will take place at O2 Academy Leeds at 11am on Wednesday 27 July.
On the attempt, Price said:
"You know me, I’ve always had a competitive streak so when it was suggested that I try and break a Guinness World Record for a book signing, I thought “Bring it on”! I love meeting my fans and I can’t wait to make them part of this world record. I really hope they will come out to support me in Leeds on 27 July and as a thank you I’m going to dedicate my next book to them and print all their names in the front."
Wait, she can write?
