Kate Winslet rescues 90-year-old from fire
Now we can all finally forgive Kate/Rose for hogging all the room on the raft and letting Leo/Jack die when Titanic went down
The actress was forced to flee from Richard Branson's Caribbean retreat after lightening struck the island but made sure to help other guests before herself, including the mogul's 90-year-old mum.
According to reports, the a-lister and 20 other guests who were staying the British Virgin Islands resort escaped unharmed after the place caught fire yesterday.
The bearded money-bags, who was staying at a nearby property with his wife and son, spoke to the Telegraph about Kate's brave actions, saying:
"Many thanks to Kate Winslet. It was she who carried my mother out of the house. She swept her up into her arms and got them out of the house as fast as possible.
"My mum is 90 and can walk but it was more to speed the process up than anything else. But Kate was great.
"She said it was like being in a film set where you're waiting for the words 'Cut' but they just don't come. It was quite surreal for her to be in a real-life situation like that."
Way to go, Kate!
