Kate Moss and Jamie Hince are finally engaged, if the ring Kate was sporting in Paris earlier today is anything to go by. Kate was all smiles as she left Brasserie Lipp in Paris, showing off her new sparkler to all and sundry.
According to the Sun, the supermodel and her long-term love Jamie Hince plan to marry this summer, after The Kills guitarist popped the question on Tuesday night with this impressive vintage 1920s engagement ring. Talking to the paper, a source blabbed, "Kate is delighted. Jamie is the man for her, they are soul mates. She just wanted to make him work for her hand in marriage.
“He has been badgering her to get married but she wanted to take her time.
“Over the last year they have grown so close, they are like man and wife.
“They're going to have the mother of all weddings. It will be a huge party, one of the biggest she has ever thrown - and she's thrown a few."
That's something of an understatement - Mossy had already started the celebrations yesterday as news of the impending nuptials spread among friends and family. She and Hince were said to have been inundated with flower deliveries at their new Hampstead home, before heading off to Mayfair for a mini party with their inner circle of pals.
Obviously Moss's eight-year-old daughter Lila Grace will be bridesmaid, but surely Sadie Frost deserves to be maid of honour? It was Jude Law's ex who introduced the bride and groom-to-be backstage at a Kills gig in 2007.
