A ha, so that's why Kate Hudson is in London at the moment! The actress has apparently flown over to celebrate her recent engagement to Matt Bellamy with a family party in the UK capital.
According to The Sun, the Almost Famous actress jetted her family in to meet the parents of her Muse rocker beau at a London hotel. Hope it went smoother than the plot of her ex-boyfriend Owen Wilson's latest film about the same situation…
Talking to the paper, a guest blabbed:
"It was an intimate party. They kept their engagement secret as they wanted to celebrate with their nearest and dearest before it became public knowledge."
Hudson's mum, Goldie Hawn, who tied in her trip with presenting a prize at the British Comedy Awards on Saturday night, recently spoke out about her delight at becoming a grandmother again, saying:
"I'm excited - happy for them both."
Of course, Hudson has a son, Ryder from a previous marriage to Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson, so this won't be her first time up the aisle, meaning she'll have plenty of wedding knowledge - from her time on the set of Bride Wars too!
