Bing Bellamy? Who names a child Bing Bellamy? Ahh, Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy, that's who.
Matt took to his Twitter account to announce the "good" news - they've finally named their son after he was born last Saturday. Still, if he's as cool as Kate's first son Ryder, maybe he'll be able to pull off the odd name.
His birth certificate reads Bingham Hawn Bellamy, and Matt explained exactly where they'd sprung his first name from:
"So happy! Just had a baby boy, Bingham 'Bing' Hawn Bellamy.
"Mum was a warrior, Bing popped out after 4.5 hours of intense pushing!
"For those wondering, Bingham is my mum's maiden name.
"Bing Russell was also Kurt [Russell's] dad. Family connections all around!"
Was anyone else happier before the visual of Bing popping out after intense pushing? Anyway, it seems the faintly ridiculous name has some grounds in both families, which is probably the only excuse.
Not sure that'll soothe him when he's teased a la Chandler Bing, but that remains to be seen…
