Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto has said calling off her engagement to get together with Dev Patel was “right”.
Freida Pinto has said dumping her fiancé Rohan Antao to get together with her Slumdog Millionaire co-star Dev Patel was “right”. Sources in India claim Freida and Antao are rumoured to have married in 2007, although the actress’ agent denies the ceremony took place, but split shortly after Slumdog Millionaire started gaining worldwide success. “I feel what I did was right. There were no two ways about it,” Pinto told Showbiz Spy. “Everyone is going to write you off for one thing or another, but you know what? It’s my life, and if I didn’t go through it, I wouldn’t be the person I am today, sitting here talking about what happened back then and being a little more knowledgeable about what happens in relationships.”
