Emma Bunton and Jade Jones engaged
Well, they certainly took their time, although in some ways that just makes the good news all the sweeter - Emma Bunton and Jade Jones are set to get hitched after 12 years - and (almost) two children together.
The pregnant mum-of-one announced her engagement live on ITV's skating show, Dancing On Ice, flashing her ring and declaring:
"I'm a very happy lady."
Bunton revealed that she was a expecting her second child with the former Damage singer (now a chef) via Twitter back in November, at that point writing:
"So our family grows, we are SO excited to announce we're having our 2nd baby and beau's wish for a brother or sister has come true! Xxxxxxx".
Now, Bunton and Geri Halliwell are the only Spice Girls who haven't yet made it down the aisle, but since they're both now engaged (Ginger Spice to Henry Beckwith), the race is on.
As for bridesmaids, both will be trying to nab their old bandmates, Mel C, Mel B and Victoria Beckham. In fact, Bunton and Jones were even spotted dining with fellow parents-to-be Posh and David at an Essex restaurant on Saturday night, which coincided with Baby's 35th birthday. Double celebration!
