Shouldn't they be old enough to know better?
I think it's fair to say that Elton John and David Furnish still aren't the biggest fans of Madonna, after her win at the Golden Globes led to David ranting on Facebook.
Yesterday, I told you about Elton being asked who else had a chance in the Original Song category he was nominated in, while on the red carpet at the Globes. He responded:
"Mary J [Blige] might win it for The Help. Madonna doesn't have a f**king chance."
When asked if those were accurate words, he said, "No, those are fighting words."
Miaow.
Madonna, of course, went on to win the award, and the Mail reports that David took to Facebook for this rant:
"Madonna. Best song???? F**k off!!!
"Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in its narcissism.
"And her criticism of Gaga shows how desperate she really is."
What? Is Elton a sore loser? Who'd have thought it...
