Dermot O'Leary's engagement announced on air

Even though in my heart of hearts I know that he's too short, this news makes me feel slightly jealous - telly's Dermot O'Leary is set to get married.
It's not exactly just a big shockarama because he's been dating his lady Dee Koppang for ten years. It seems that after a year with Beyonce's Single Ladies on repeat, he finally got the message and popped the question to Dee, news that was announced by Caroline Flack and Olly Murs on The Xtra Factor.
On the spin-off show, Harry Styles' rumoured love said to Dermy:
"We want to congratulate you...on your engagement!'"
Olly then added the obvious fact that the 38-year-old had waited a long time, to which Dermot responded:
"Well, you don't want to rush these things!"
Well, that ruined Caroline and Olly's chance of an invite - the big mouths.
Congrats, Dermot and Dee! Let's hope you don't wait another ten years before actually getting down the aisle.
