Daly discusses “difficult year”

Tess Daly has told the Observer that life with husband Vernon Kay is “good” again following his sex text scandal. In February, Vernon admitted he’d been “an idiot” after he was caught sending explicit text messages to several girls, including Page 3 girl Rhian Sugden. However, Tess has insisted the TV presenting couple have now worked through their problems.
"It has of course been a difficult year and of course it shakes the foundations of what you believe in, but you learn from it,” she explained. "We were able to move on because we both want the same things - we want a loving family together. It's not easy when people are asking you all the time and you are trying to deal with something so acutely personal. We've moved on and things are good."
Well done Tess. They’ll be no doubting which side Vernon’s bread is buttered after seven months in the doghouse!
